Hi there and welcome! My name is Clémence Breuil, I'm a passionate French product designer.
I see design as telling stories. I like to imagine unexpected yet accurate and logical answers to society and individual issues. In my opinion, design has always been about making wonders out of ancient and new techniques to poeticize our environment and improve the life of everybody. I enjoy searching for sensible answers that can echo traditions and history, carrying with them a deeper meaning and emotional value.
I have worked for the French design agency Distorsion, the Italian interior architecture studio Primo Atelier, the Italian furniture design studio Sand&Birch, the French ceramist Franck Scala, and the Moroccan designer Younes Duret.
Next to design I enjoy writing poetry and introspective thoughts to quiet my mind, growing an unreasonable number of plants, watching intense thriller movies, exploring cultures through travel, endlessly playing the same piano pieces, making cute clothes with my grandma's sewing machine, listening to dark and depressing songs, falling into Wikipedia rabbit holes at 3 a.m., searching for bird feathers along hiking trails to add to my fantastic collection, and killing mosquitoes.
